According to statistics, one in 88 children in the USA has autism spectrum disorder, or ASD. ACT Today!, which stands for Autism Care and Treatment Today!, is a national non-profit organization that works to provide treatment and support services for families with children who have autism. ACT Today! believes that every child should be able to experience and live life to the fullest, and should have the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

The main goal of the organization is twofold: to raise awareness regarding autism in the form of news articles, blogs, television guestings, and other forms of social media, and to help families help their children by providing resources such as treatment, funding, therapy and guidance. Founded by several people and with the assistance of Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh, ACT Today! has several programs, including one for military families with autistic children. Thought the organization started out with a small staff, it has made a huge difference in the lives of children everywhere, and as it expands, continues to do more good!
