On their first Federation’s appeal, approximately 489 people answered to their call and they were able to raise a total of $11,909 donations. Their mission is to inspire the younger generation to embrace the Jewish life and learning and to forge strong connections with Israel. Combined Jewish Philanthropies continually innovate to find means to care for the vulnerable and to address the major needs of the Jewish community. They partner with other agencies to provide services like counseling, cash assistance and employment support to those who are in crisis.
