Games for Change is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 with the goal of facilitating the production and distribution of social impact games which are considered to be critical tools in educational and humanitarian efforts. The organization aims to leverage engagement and entertainment to do social good and convenes stakeholders, incubates games, highlights best practices, and opens up opportunities for new projects in order to grow the field. 

Steadily becoming a global presence, Games for Change so far has a European, Latin American, and South Korean chapter. Some of the clients that the organization is working with or has worked with in the past include: the AARP, the American Museum of Natural History, Heifer International, T.RowePrice, the World Bank Institute, the USAID, UNDP, the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, Answer, and The Howard G. Buffett Foundation. One of the most recent projects Games for Change was working on was the transmedia campaign for the Half the Sky Movement.
