Hope for Tomorrow is a non-profit, non-government agency committed to the provision of educational assistance, high-quality health care and several other human services to underprivileged communities. Its team is composed of professionals boasting of a vast spectrum of experiences, who works on mission trips that span across United States of America, South America, South East Asia and South Africa, bringing an array of specialized and general disciplines to every region.
Hope for Tomorrow originally began with a group of friends coming together to participate in several community service projects. As the service projects grew in number, the group also started to grow. In 2005, Ngoc Chu, one of the founders of Hope for Tomorrow, introduced the organization to the world of medical and dental mission work. Its nucleus was formed and the group officially transformed themselves to a charitable foundation. Eight months later, Hope for Tomorrow got together and orchestrated a medical and dental mission in Vietnam. The event became a major turning point, which allowed the organization to blossom into a strong team, boasting of solid grass roots support. It has successfully completed countless notable projects including medical missions in Cambodia, construction of an orphanage in Vietnam, participation in American Health Fair in Virginia, funding dental missions in Da Nang Province, purchasing of 100 bicycles for underprivileged elementary students, provision of financial assistance in Vietnam during the Lekima Typhoon.
Today, Hope for Tomorrow is initiating a program to raise funds and acquire resources for the construction of Mai Tam Cancer Center in Saigon, which will serve the poor children and orphans suffering from cancer. The structure will also welcome the family and relatives of those children who came from other regions just to seek treatment for their loved ones. Most importantly, it will serve as a safe and secure sanctuary for cancer patients and their families, while they struggle to fight their illness.
