The Humane Society of Utah provides shelter, veterinary services, and adoption services for unwanted, abandoned, and lost animals as well as low-cost vaccination and spay/neuter services for pets. The non-profit organization encourages its donors, volunteers, and stakeholders to assist its men and women in saving 11,000 cats and dogs for 2015 usually by adopting one or several of these animals.

In case of non-adoption for any reason, interested individuals can also provide assistance to the Humane Society of Utah by:
  • Volunteering at the programs and projects of the society;
  • Fostering an animal for a meaningful experience particularly in learning the ways to make a positive difference in an animal’s life;
  • Helping the Society advocate for animal welfare in all levels of government for a lasting impact on the state’s animals;
  • Establishing partnerships with the Society especially for local and national companies;
  • Staying updated about off-site adoption and special events as well as promoting these events; and
  • Checking out job listings for employment opportunities with the Society
Services offered at its veterinary clinic include vaccinations, microchips, and spay/neuter surgeries.
