Children with special needs require all the support they can get from their families and communities. The Leg Up Farm is one such organization that provides children with special needs the opportunities to reach their fullest potential.

The non-profit therapy center, which is located in York County, Pennsylvania, provides children with individually tailored treatment plans as well as wide range of services in a child-friendly environment. The convenient, comfortable and centralized location for therapy treatments are the organization’s key to success, which will increase the positive results for both the children and their families.

At the heart of Leg Up Farm is Matthew Town, named in honor of Matthew Allen Porter who was fatally injured in a roller coaster ride in September 2001. Porter’s legacy and spirit lives on through the children with special needs who come to Leg Up Farm. The children engage in a wide range of activities that foster their socialization skills, practical skills, and friendships.
