Special K Ranch, a working ranch located on 230 acres of beautiful and bountiful land, provides people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to become self-sufficient in their own way. Clients are provided with the company of competent and compassionate advisers who will guide clients in living, learning and working in the ranch, including their daily personal activities as well as ranch and household responsibilities.

Every client is encouraged to work on the ranch responsibilities including raising livestock, caring for indigenous trees, and tending to the greenhouse tomatoes, among others. With these activities, the Special K Ranch works toward becoming a self-sufficient organization – and, thus, continue to benefit more adults with developmental disabilities.

Special K Ranch serves men and women 18 years old and older. It must be emphasized that the ranch management only accepts individuals who can communicate their basic needs and who have the ability to manage their primary needs.
