The Africa-America Institute or AAI is a premier US-based organization that focuses on international education and public policy. It works to advance higher education and professional development for Africans, as well as promote engagement and partnership between Africa and America through training, education, and dialogue.

For six decades, the institute has been unlocking the potentials of African talent to help strengthen the capacity of individuals and societies in Africa to eventually further development and progress in communities and nations, as well as bolster the continent’s economic growth and economic competitiveness.

The AAI creates opportunities for education, empowerment, and employment for the future generations of African leaders. Today, Africans between ages 14-35 make up over 50% of the continent’s population. By 2030, it is estimated that this number will take at least 40% of the world’s youth. This is currently among Africa’s challenges and the institute aims to solve this through unleashing the African youth’s potential and honing their skills and talents.
