It was in 1991
that World Help got founded as a faith-based organization whose endeavor
revolves around spreading the word of God to the nations of Eastern Europe
where the majority are starving spiritually.
It was in 1993
that their Humanitarian Aid Department started with shipments of goods to
Cancer Hospital #62 in Moscow, Russia. In 1996, the non-profit organization’s
effort expanded to include three countries. Other than their movement of church
planting, the organization is now determined to help out in their own ways in
terms of alleviating the suffering of the needy by sending off donated goods to
various countries. World Help has made
an impact to more than 7,240,000 people in impoverished countries around the
world.
After Forbes’
list of US Largest Charities was rolled out, the organization came forward and
admitted its 2011 private donations were less than what was reported. Because
of this, the organization was automatically dropped from the list.
